Terry Conroy        A.I.P.F.                          

Hi,

My name is Terry Conroy and I  am a photographer based in the Irish Midlands. I am very passionate about my photography and am continually learning in order to be able to capture images in the best possible way.

 

I gained my Licentiateship from the Irish Photographic Federation in November 2012 and then went on to become an Associate in October 2018. I compete regularly in National and International competitions at the advanced level. My images “Pathway of Life” and "Amour dans les Yeux" are my most successful images to date. The first won a silver medal in the Irish National Championships in 2013 and went on to win the first TV3 monthly Photographic competition in November 2013. The latter received an honorary mention in the IPF National Shield in 2017. I have also won various  medals in Ireland, France and Romania in 2019.

 

While I enjoy competing this is not the most important part of Photography for me. I am passionate about combining the environment and people with available light to capture an image.

In collaboration with Dance Artist Erica Burgess I have been involved in two exhibitions in the Dunamaise Arts Centre and the Arthouse Stradbally. Both in Co Laois Ireland.
